the best thing is that i'm BACK FROM CHINA! it's a lovelyyy place (:
i've been homesick for the past 14 days, so imagine the joy of stepping into Singapore ground that i experienced yesterday! haha, i shall start with arrival into Singapore! my whole family + cousin's family + grandma was waiting for me at the arrival hall and were waving like crazy fans when they spotted me -.- after colleting my luggage, went out with junying and little sean came running up to me and passed me an A3 piece of paper, which turned out to be a little colouring of Singapore. felt like a VIP and junying was saying that i'm so lucky to have everyone welcoming me back. so touching~~
i missed everyone back home so badly. even more homesick than OBS, which was quite unexpected. 've been to many many camps and yet i still felt terribly homesick at night, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT ): haha ranted to june and chinwen on msn and thanks! cos they made me feel better, sort of (:
talking about random bits and pieces of the trip now... i'm gonna miss the ningbo zhenhai group for the next few weeks, at least. cos they've been SO MUCH FUNNNNN. roommates steph, chelly, netto and little meiqi!!! and biker girl, wendy, shirlynn, anzhu/jiaxin, jiaxin (this is not a typo error), jiamin, yonghwang, jiaying and the BUMP. they really made the trip worth going and we had fun together. Almost every night, we would stay up and play cards or werewolf. (werewolf!!! was deprived of it for a year, and it was nice to play it again) especially in shanghai! aye, some of them stayed up to as late as 3am in the hotel to play! it was super fun playing it together :D meiqi rarely got werewolf, but somehow the 309 ppl always got werewolf, hahaha.
china students are fantastic and friendly, really. unfortunately my group only had 随班上课 for 2 days cos the students were in the midst of having their exams ): i didn't really feel welcomed by my class, for example when the lunch bell rang, they rushed out of class leaving us behind ): but tabby's roommates were really friendly, and some students did make me feel welcomed, especially the zhenhai reporters. the 309's class' ppl were really sweet to them and it's quite touching :D
i'll pause here for the time being and will continue some other time (: but this trip truly changed my impression of china. i really admire the student's attitude towards school and everything, they're very hardworking :)
lastly, roomies :D meiqi sarah steph netto chelly
oh, and something i can't figure out.. who sent me an sms from china this morning? it reads: greetings from cheena... .. thank you, whoever you are, that's really sweet of you :D
aS kidS See it
