Thursday's footdrill was quite okay, just that the NDP squad deproved a little. BUT! don't give up hope! ohman the sun was like this oven trying to toast us or something. Well done, it succeeded 50%, cos it wasn't even half the session and everyone was dead tired. It's quite xin tong to see everyone like that! Read shiaowei's blog and she said that when FCs asked whether they needed water break, the squad said "yes ma'am!" for the first time! I could see michelle's bun dripping sweat occasionally when she marched!
actually, footdrill is something really hard to perfect. Most of the time, because maybe the members of the squad are tired, they might just depend on luck to deliver solid and uniformed bangs. What xiaoen said was true, each and every single one of the NDP squad has to be awake and alert and really process the command in your mind, not switching your mind to "default mode" and doing whatever the command is without really knowing that you're doing it. Haha the FCs tried some drills such as marching and our dressing was quite horrible too :/ It's like we stopped marching and we formed a very slanted line! Haha but our bangs were quite nice! :D yup we can understand how difficult it is to get everything perfect, including dressing, arm coord, your homad! and bangs and looking up and all that. It just takes effort, time and practice. Because when there's a will, there's a way. Just believe in yourself and put in effort :) We believe you can do it too!
Friday's CCA was fun! I found out this fun fact about nyssa: she's a young chef-to-be! HAHA, she loooooves food prep so much, and she took quite a lot of initiative, like asking questions and all that. Yay! And she did most of the chopping, and under fellow good cook Zhaoqi's guidance she managed to chop better at the end of the session! The pizza toast was yummy, we were craving for more :) I think ling-lin did a very good job this session! Hooray, everything went quite smooth-sailing and the comments that they gave were really good and they are observant (: LOL, they ended up comparing whose folded-triangle-plastic-bag looked the nicest -.-
And lien and I didn't get a chance to go for teacher's day audition! The class performed early and we went late, so we only could ask around for what happened and how well it went. "Oh, the teacher's said that our singing was horrible." "Junying cried, sophie cried the loudest!" "The teachers scolded us!" Haha, funny classmates are really good at spinning up stories. Anyway, in the end they told us the truth that it went fine (: Yay! We didn't screw it up or anything, which is better than expected, considering the fact that we started preparing for it at only 8am on the same day!
