Just felt like livening this space up with a few pictures!
A good, hearty breakfast at Hatched a few weekends ago. We were the first customers of the day and the ambience was very relaxing.
Gardens By The Bay after the Harry Potter Exhibition. The gardens itself didn’t really wow me as much as I expected on the first visit there though; I think the paid attractions will probably have more to offer. But again, seeing MBS, the city skyline, flyer and the Gardens altogether did wow me, like Singapore has changed so much in the past decade. Also, it’s pretty cool how most things in the Gardens help contribute to environmental sustainability.
Failed attempt at separate jumpshots haha (:
STAR Concert! This is my first large-scale concert, and it was quite awesome. Having it outdoors at the Gardens was very relaxing, and the weather made it even more enjoyable. Sound system was very good, no technical problems, the visuals were very clear too and the performances were good (especially Boys Like Girls! I’m not a huge fan of theirs but their live singing and performances were good!)
Thanks to Isa and her parents, had an awesome Sunday and great time at the concert. We were seated at the back, near the hilly area, where many families gathered too. A lot of the audience probably never heard most songs performed before (there were lots of little kids, and some families with elderly too) but they just waved their lightsticks along and enjoyed the ambience and the show, haha. I thought the line-up of the concert was a weird mismatch of performers at first (Mainstream pop, Kpop, the Malay community, C-pop too) but come to think of it, it kinda catered to the multi-racial and diverse Singaporean community.
While Boys Like Girls were performing!
At The Handburger with Caijing one of the days, it was a great meal. I’m never very criticising of food cos everything tastes decent to me, haha. Anyway, somehow after JC, eating good food is becoming more and more of an appealing pastime.
This was Punggol Park a few months ago; my brother was trying out the multiple shot function on the camera or something. Turned out quite cool if you scroll through the pictures on the computer, it’s really like those cartoon animations where many pictures string together to form a short clip.
Okay, time for lunch soon! Stomach’s growlingggg.
