Two neat things about Google (among others)

I was on the Google page when I noticed that the Google header for today was birthday cakes. I was wondering wow with whom do I have the honour of sharing a birthday with?

Then scrolled my mouse over the image and it read "Happy birthday Sarah!" Haha. I was signed into my Gmail account when I opened Google.

That was nice.

Over the semester I also discovered the presence of keyboard short cuts on Google docs and it's made work a lot easier too. It saves users the trouble of reaching for the mouse every time we want to make a comment on Google docs (Ctrl+Alt+M) or make a few points bulleted (Ctrl+shift+8 i think). And Google has the short-cut commands displayed right next to the action.
