Can you tell how bored I am?
Campfire's coming. I'm so excited! Cos there's enthu people like CHINWEN and HUIER going. It's definitely not going to be boring. Haha! St. Margs.... I heard that they are quite playful so their campfires should be nice. Hopefully! :D Really looking forward to it. haven't worn guide u for ages; the last time was thinking day rally.
Oh this brings me to talking about the little camp on good friday! My dad and his friends organised a one-night camp at pasir ris park, but we didn't stay overnight cos my sibs and i are down with flu. so we just went for the bbq and the "campfire". the chicken wings were SO TEMPTING! but i could only eat one. oh yes, another type of food can be added to my "favourite food" list! that is none other than... sausages! or hotdogs! or sausadogs! I just stuffed the sausadogs into my mouth like i didn't care about anything. really, they're just so tasty! but not tasty enough to outmatch the delicious EGG to be at the top of my favourite food list (:
the other families brought their tents, and one even brought a mini-mattress! but i guess it would be comfortable. and while we were bbq-ing, one of the tents almost flew away! haha, cos the sea breeze was really strong and it just sort of lifted the corners of the tents. a bit. but in the end it stayed rooted to the ground! and oh auntie s.b. thought that the moon was the sun! it was quite funny. and my brother tried to point at the moon, trying to see if you would really get a cut behind your ear if you did that. but in the end he didn't. He's still a bit superstitious about these things (:
And when our tummys expanded to their maximum, we took one of the aluminium trays, put the still-very-hot charcoal inside and placed punk in there. And the punk lit up! :D whee just like outdoor cooking. it really, really reminded me of guides :D :D :D and then the little boys were going all around to collect the punk (sadly, they didn't collect twigs and ignored me). And throughout the whole "campfire", the boys were maintaining the fire by throwing punk in there and burning marshmallows and letting marshmallows catch fire. Very hilarious. We sang songs, and my father brought his guitar. I learnt a few new songs! Especially love the "Second-Storey Window". There was also this song where you had to shake your butt as you sing the song. hahaha i laughed so much when the adults were doing the actions. Everyone laughed. It's not everyday that you get to see them do that! :P
okay got to eat dinner, and watch my stomach expand :D
aS kidS See it
