BBQ, Campfire & everything Guide-ish!

Had a whale of a time last week, and yeah it was spent with batchies and Guides!

Ms Ye's farewell and BBQ party was the highlight of the week for me :) Was happy as we got to spend time with Guiders and batchmates, but was sad and am still a little sad cos Ms Ye was really sporty and fun and friendly to all of us, she was a wonderful Guider. Hope that she'll stay happy like she is now :D

Oh oh yes we played Wii Sports and hahaha it was so funny cos chinwen and lingxin were screaming their lungs out while watching other people play Wii tennis and when they themselves were playing tennis. And ohgod Mrs Ang really rocks at tennis, it was her vs xiaoen and i, and she actually won easily! Xiaoen and I were swinging our arms all over the place, but Mrs Ang just had to flick her hand a few times and she happily won the game. Ms Ye was also not bad for a first-timer! Boxing was quite hilarious too, with batchmates around, nothing is boring :)

There was a whole lot of food for all of us to feast on and the food was quite tasty! The cookies and cream cheesecake was rich and delicious, I had a bite or two, and really felt like I'm in heaven, it was really really good, glad we bought it! Something interesting that we found out: Ms Ye had many pets (4 pets!), a bird (called birdie), a rabbit (called bunny i think!), a lizard (hahaha! so cute, it was my first time hearing someone having a pet lizard :D ) and tortoises! Sadly, the bird can't talk, but it loves diamonds and glittering items. The bunny was ADORABLE and very cute. We had fun, and we love Ms Ye! :D

PLC workshop part II and campfire the next day, spent the morning with Roosterice and realised that it was our first time eating lunch together. RV Campfire was enjoyable, they held it on their school field which was very nice, and when night fell you could see the stars, there were so many of them. The school's location is really good, there's a village-like place on one side and the other side are office buildings etc. Their campfire was kinda different from the ones we usually do, and I thought that the fire was very pretty, cos it was really like "logs" at the bottom and a very nice fire burning on top of the logs. I enjoyed community singing, where they just blasted songs consecutively and we sang along/jumped along :D

and lastly, today's JUNE's special day! :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNE LEE!! you're a great friend and batchmate, thanks for being who you are - optimistic, carefree and cheerful! also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANDA ONG HI HI!! (your birthday's tomorrow, but a few hours won't make much difference!) thanks for being your happy happy self, and accompanying me to wash mess tins :D

am blessed to have batchmates like them :)
