School’s getting quite tiring and draining nowadays, and the tutorial debt is piling up, things are not looking very good academic-wise. But hopefully everything will get sorted out and priorities can be set right (:
On a random note, one of my teachers has purple highlights in her hair, which is really quite cool! She reminds me a lot of Ms Teo back in Nanyang. And oh GP lessons are getting fun and I actually look forward to them every week (: GP & Bio lessons.
Actually, I really do miss the lessons in secondary school cos they were more fun-filled and less structured. What happened to all the movie-screening during mass lectures D: This year for the first time since forever, we got to watch short and entertaining videos during GP lessons and that made a whole lot of difference to lessons. But yeah it’s understandable that JC is only a short 2 years and squeezing the whole syllabus into this short span of time is already a difficult task. So no time for other enrichment activities :/
We had Bio lesson in the reading room last week and it was SO NICE. The whole environment, I mean. Ample table space and space to cross your feet, comfortable cool environment and awwwh it’s quiet peaceful and nice. We all wish it were our classroom. That lesson was a 2.5 hour bio tutorial and surprisingly it didn’t feel as sian or boring as we thought it would be. Which is good!
School kind of feels like the same repetitive cycle of lectures & tutorials. Probably the mentality that this year’s the BIG year is starting to kick in for a lot of us. Oh wellllllll, more trips to high school would be nice. Everytime someone’s on the piano there, it just spreads joy, even when it’s in the midst of some PT (:
Okay time for time tunnel (it’s overdue work sigh). Blocks coming, work hard!
